This is a color theory study and a product of Jaeden's big head challenge: [link]

Colors: 32

So the purpose of this big head is not just to make the work look like it could be tooled as dictated by the big-head challenge, but I added my own personal twist by trying to get as few colors in there as possible while still giving the illusion of many colors. I really like the subtle color changes in the skin tone.

Baseless. No references used except Jaeden's big head of course. XD

I love it! *wooh for getting the first comment on this* God I love how you made the hair green, but it still looks real. Not like it's some ridiculous green wig, you know like the costume ones. It looks like her hair just naturally grows gorgeous green locks...lol

This is probably the most incredible piece of pixel art I've seen since the last big head was done (I really need to make one!) The hair is fantastic- its very flowy and realistic even though it *is* green. The shine is really great and I like how it's tucked behind her ear. I also really like the glittery mossy stuff on her arms chest and face. I think my favorite part of this is probably the face- the expression she has is just gorgeous- very serene and calm and maybe even a bit sad. It just looks like theres a story behind her, if that makes sense. I know it sounds cliche but its trueXD The cheekbones, nose and eye area are especially well done. Great piece! (btw, congrats on getting this down to 32 colors! lol usually my dolls are less than half this size and around 70 or 80 colors,lol)

I think this is my favorite of the Big Heads - the hair is definitely the highlight of the piece. Nice and realistic

Though, I don't think a little AA on her ear would hurt. It's a rather sharp transition between it and her hair.
