The only criticism I have is the fingers: he's got no grip: it looks like he's holding the khukris with his fingers almost flat, sort of like how how might carry a piece of paper.
Regarding the grip of one's hand on a weapon, here's some Miyamoto Musashi for you:
". . . the thumb and forefinger grip lightly, the middle finger grips neither tightly nor loosely, while the fourth and little fingers grip tightly. There should be no slackness in the hand."
He counted the thumb as a finger, so that's ring finger and pinky/little finger, respectively.
