This is a cover piece commissioned by Kthonia Press for "Monsoon and other Short Stories". She is a Hindu goddess of lightning.

Spectacular, majestic and ferocious. I love that you chose features somewhere between the North and South Indian artistic traditions, as well as your use of color; the combination of silver, gold and blue practically incarnates the shock and crash of an electrical storm. I recently wrote about a dress of this color blue, but it took your eyes to give it life in my head. The fine pattern detail of silk and henna is the perfect touch.
