This is a recent commission I did for someone here on deviantart- abellius.

I tried some new brushes by

[link] (which are awesome by the way- GET THEM). I'm trying to loosen up and add more artistry. I made up the pose and features based on several inspiration pictures. Like seriously, maybe 30 images of things here and there all piled on different layers in it's own little loose ref/inspiration file. No direct ref. All extrapolation.

I think Lithriel did a fantastic job with the pose, expression, and lighting. She originally proposed a lighter skin tone, but I'm happy that we changed it to what it currently is.

Thanks so much! It was much more muted than that when the client asked for a brighter skin tone. I am glad he did because I like the contrast of the complimentary colors better.
